Training Tools for Accessible Towns (TTAT)

CAE is delighted to launch our first European Commission supported project, Training Tools for Accessible Towns. CAE is collaborating with four European partners, all of whom are specialists in the field of inclusive design:
- ARVHA, a research and training organisation in France (Project Leader)
- BBM-Grup, an agency for architecture, Romania
- Roma Tre University, Department of Architecture and Design, Italy
- Omada 80, an architectural firm in Greece
The project will continue to develop high-quality training resources for planners, access consultants, architects and construction professionals. The training will focus on access to the public realm and cover legislation, access standards and best practice examples across Europe and internationally.
SMALA our supporting Swiss partner organisation, have contributed a short film to support the project and features interviews with various user groups and an excellent disability awareness campaign. We recommend the interviews which start from 04:15min into the film.
